Accessibility

Last updated May 28, 2026

Our commitment

Emi Woo is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to everyone. We continually improve the experience for assistive technology and consider all users in our design and engineering decisions.

Inclusive Fashion & Media

We believe that fashion should be experienced by everyone, regardless of ability. To support our visually impaired and neurodivergent community members, we are actively implementing the following practices across our digital storefront:

  • Descriptive Alt Text: We strive to provide vivid, detailed image descriptions for our garments. Our alt text goes beyond basic labels to describe fabric textures, garment drapes, silhouettes, and styling, ensuring our designs come to life for screen-reader users.
  • Accessible Sizing & Navigation: We know that complex size charts and interactive fit guides can sometimes be difficult to navigate. If you experience any barriers while trying to find your size or understand a garment's measurements, our team is fully trained and ready to assist you directly.

Conformance

We target conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Before features ship, we test with keyboard navigation, screen readers (VoiceOver and NVDA), and review color contrast, focus states, and motion sensitivity. This statement applies to www.emiwoo.com and is reviewed at least annually.

Third-Party Integrations

Accessibility is an iterative, ongoing process. Certain elements of our site rely on third-party integrations—such as our checkout and booking portals. While these elements follow their own accessibility standards, we choose our digital partners thoughtfully and actively encourage them to maintain compliant, accessible interfaces.

Report an issue

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on our site, please contact support@emiwoo.com or call (Phone number). Share the page URL and a short description, and we will respond within five business days.

For customers in the European Union

In alignment with the European Accessibility Act (EAA), if your accessibility concern remains unresolved after contacting us, you may escalate the issue to the accessibility enforcement authority in your member state. A complete directory is maintained by the European Commission at: https://ec.europa.eu/social/main.jsp?catId=1497.
