Your Privacy Choices
We treat your attention, your inbox, and your data the way we treat the silk on a Phoenix blouse — as something not ours to be careless with. This page is where you tell us what you want us to do with the information our site collects when you visit, browse, or buy.
What this page is for
Under California privacy law (the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA) and similar laws in other US states, residents have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information. The legal definition of “sharing” is broader than it sounds — it can include the use of advertising and analytics technologies that send data to third parties for things like retargeting and audience-building, even when no money changes hands.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do use a small set of analytics and advertising technologies that may qualify as “sharing” under California’s definition. The choices below let you opt out of that.
Global Privacy Control (the quiet way)
The easiest way to opt out is to let your browser do the talking. If your browser or a browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we honor it automatically on every page of this site. You do not need to fill anything out. Brave, Firefox, DuckDuckGo and the Privacy Badger extension all support GPC; most other browsers can enable it through a setting or extension.
Opt out by email
If you would rather send us a note, write to privacy@emiwoo.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.” Tell us the email address you use with us and, if you can, the device or browser you usually shop from. We will confirm receipt within a few days and complete your request within fifteen business days, as required by law.
You do not need to create an account to make this request. You do not need to give us a reason. An authorized agent acting on your behalf can also submit the request; we may ask for written proof that you have authorized them.
Other privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to receive a copy of it, to correct it, to limit our use of sensitive information, and to delete what we hold. To exercise any of these, write to the same address — privacy@emiwoo.com — and tell us which right you would like to exercise. We will not retaliate against you, or treat you differently as a customer, for exercising these rights.
Cookies and consent
If you want to change which categories of cookies and tracking technologies we use during your visit, you can reopen the cookie banner at any time from our Cookie Policy page, or by emailing us.
The longer version
Our full Privacy Policy sets out, in detail, the categories of information we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and the legal bases we rely on. This page is the short, action version of that.
